Hose Community Orchard

Welcome to Hose Community Orchard

Hose Community Orchard marks the start of the new Millenium. It has been developed and planted by people living in Hose, Leicestershire, UK, with trees sponsored by the people of Hose, for the use of the people of Hose, with financial help from local organisations and on land owned by the local Parish Council.

It is in every sense a "Community Orchard".

Each tree has been sponsored by a someone from the village. This provide enough cash to develop the site properly and the HCOA is very grateful to the sponsors. This means that there is a small plaque by each tree naming them, but it does not imply the tree belongs to them, or that the fruit is theirs: everything belongs to the community.

We hope that the orchard will last a long time and give pleasure to many.
