The gardening club meets at 7.30 on the first Thursday of each month in Hose
Village Hall. We follow a varied programme including talks, local visits and occasional coach
trips. The tour of member's gardens is always very popular and we ring the changes by asking for
volunteers from different villages each year. There is a Bring-and-Buy plant sale at each meeting
and we finish with tea or coffee. Our yearly programme ends with a Christmas party and quiz,
free to all members and their guests.
Most of us live in Hose, Long Clawson or Harby, but we also have members from further afield.
New members are always welcome. Entry to meetings is free to members or £3 for visitors. The
annual subscription is £15.
