Hose Neighbourhood Watch

In an emergency, or if you feel suspicious, never hesitate to ring 999

In a non-emergency, ring 101

You can also contact the Police Control Room on 0116 222 2222

Hose Neighbourhood Watch works with Leicestershire Police to alert villagers to problems in the local area (such as lost and found items, road closures, thefts, anti-social behaviour, aggressive or questionable cold-calling etc) and to let the police know of any issues that villagers observe or encounter. Alerts are sent out to NHW members via e-mail and Facebook, with an informal route via neighbours to those without a computer or smartphone.

The Local Co-ordinator is Mr Keith Neill-Smith (E-mail: info@clarity-ns.co.uk) If you would like to receive alerts, please contact on the email address given.

Essentially he forwards messages to and from the police, but it should be emphasised that villagers are encouraged always to contact the police direct on the above numbers. They are always pleased to receive any information, no matter how apparently trivial it might be, so please do err on the safe side and call them.

The principal police contact is PC Mark Longden who, with his team, is based in Bottesford, but you are unlikely to be able to contact them by phone in person. Your report will be logged by the police switchboard and forwarded as appropriate.
